VILNIUS 2024

During the international conference, the need to ensure education without discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity, the right to inclusive and science-based sex education, the empowerment of LGBT youth in the fight against bullying, the good experience of Nordic and other countries in the aforementioned areas will be discussed. The conference is organized in cooperation with Nordic Council or Ministers Office in Lithuania and Vilnius City Municipality. Inclusive education specialists and experts will be invited to participate in the conference, the event will attract a number of experts from Nordic and other countries to Vilnius.

The March will start at the Bernardine Gardens.

The traditional march For Equality!, which has been taking place since 2010, will be enlivened by 10 specially equipped and decorated musical platforms, featuring performances by DJs and representatives of the drag culture, messages to the LGBT community and the public.

Lithuanian Pride March for Equality will culminate with a gala concert featuring live performances of national and international stars of the LGBT community: DJs, drag performers LaDiva Live (Belgium), Rita Baga (Canada), Sederginne (Netherlands) and the most progressive stars of the Lithuanian pop scene. The Rainbow Awards will also be presented during the concert.

A community stage will be set up at the concert venue, where the talents of the local LGBT community will be able to perform, as well as a family space for parents with children. The community stage will be created by the performers of the drag collective Dramatica in cooperation with the LGBT community nightclub Soho. In the family area, activities for children will be conducted by representatives of drag culture and animators. Fair tents will also be set up in the event space, with free HIV testing and LGBT paraphernalia.

Pride weekend will start bright and colourful – the Balaganza family will be in charge of spreading good cheer from the start. Imagine being enveloped in all the colours of the rainbow and already swaying to the most iconic LGBT anthems. Tonight, our local drag queens will be shining on stage, shining brighter than even the rainbow itself. Your job is to make sure you don’t miss the performances of the most popular drag queens in town, which will be the perfect start to the whole Pride weekend!

Don’t expect the usual drag shows tonight – you’re in for a true international extravaganza that promises to rip the wig off your head and leave you screaming for more! The event programme will include breathtakingly fiery numbers by international drag queens, creating a unique atmosphere throughout the club. It’s not just a show, it’s a movement, or even a testament to the powerful drag culture we’re writing together tonight. Join in and let the party begin!

Although the curtain has already fallen on the Dramatica performances, this is far from the end of the evening. On the eve of the big event – the Lithuanian Pride 2024 march – we invite you to the “Dramatica Goes Dancing” party with the club’s resident DJ Dainys. The unforgettable night will last until dawn!

Get excited: two stages ready to rock your world – one ballroom will be filled with the hottest LGBT+ POP hits spun by our beloved club residents, while the second ballroom will bring together all electronic and techno music fans with the Headcancel series.
